5. REARMING
If disarmed, LED will stay blinking until the door or trunk will not open. After 30 seconds will alarm activate
automatically, central door lock will close the doors.
If the doors or trunk will open, the count down will stop and LED will go of.
6. ATTENTION
– ACTIVATED INPUT
If any doors, bonnet or trunk is not closed when arming, the ALARM signalizes it with three siren chirps. The system
will be armed, but the opened door / bonnet / trunk will not be monitored (armed).
7. ALARM TRIGGERED
Activated alarm will trigger, from the inputs: doors, trunk, bonnet, ultrasonic sensor, additional sensors and ignition.
Duration of alarm triggering is 30 seconds
– light’s are blinking , siren chirps. LED is blinking in short interval’s.
Each from inputs can trigger alarm state 4 times, afterwards is this input deactivated for the case of false alarm
triggering.
Pressing button
during alarm trigger will cancel alarm state, but the alarm will stay activated.
Pressing button
during alarm trigger will cancel alarm state, but the alarm will deactivate and the doors will open.
8. AUTOMATIC CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING DURING DRIVE
On a demand, the installer can enable the ignition safety door lock function of the alarm.
If enabled, then 8 seconds after turning the ignition on (all doors closed) the central door lock will be locked (the
doors can not be opened from the outside).
Switching the ignition off unlocks the central door locking system. If the door locks are unlocked with the ignition on,
then 8 seconds after opening and closing any passenger's door the central door locks will be locked again.
If driver's door is opened when the ignition is switched on, the Ignition Safety Door Lock function will be disabled, until
the ignition is switched off and on again. Switching the ignition off unlocks the central door locking system.
9. PASSIVE ARMING / AUTOMATICS CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING
On a demand, the passive arming with or without automatic central door locking can be enabled. Passive arming
function arms (switches on) the alarm automatically. With the ignition off, opening and closing driver's door starts the
timer of
passive arming
procedure. It is signaled by a single siren chirp. 12 seconds later, the alarm arms
automatically, signaling it with LED, siren chirp and hazard lights. The central door locks remain unlocked driver can
still get into the vehicle.
Passive arming can be stopped if the button is pressed in the 12 seconds period after closing driver's door. Cancel of
passive arming is signaled by double siren chirp - passive arming will not occur. If the
automatic central door
locking
is enabled, the door locking occurs 8 seconds after passive arming of the alarm and is signaled by single
siren chirp.
During that 8 seconds period between passive arming and automatic locking, press of the button
locks the vehicle
(confirmed by single siren chirp); press of the button
disarms the alarm, unlocks the vehicle and cancel the
passive arming. The sequence of events (first passive arming with chirp, then automatic central door locking)
prevents from locking the keys inside vehicle.
10. FUNCTION IMMOBILIZER
On a demand (RF module with JOKER required)the passive immobilizer function of DS500 can be enabled. This
function does not permit to start the engine (even if the DS500 is in disarmed state) 25 seconds after turning the
ignition off.
In order to start the engine the passive immobilizer has to be authorized in one of two ways:
1. Press the Valet switch for approximately 1 second.
2. Use the Joker remote (option).
If the engine has been immobilized the LED blinks 2 times per 2 seconds. If the immobilizer is authorized, the LED
goes off and the vehicle is ready to go. The immobilizer feature cannot stop the car during drive and is a safe
protection against unauthorized copying or theft of OEM car keys.
11. ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION
On a demand (RF module with JOKER required) the anti-hijack function can be enabled. This function prevents from
stealing a car after an assault on driver. Anti-hijack function has to be authorized after every
open of driver’s door
(even during drive). Without the authorization the car will be stopped in a safe procedure. The LED blinks once every
2 seconds when the system is waiting for the authorization.
