Connect the recorder to a USB computer port using
the supplied USB cable. The supplied software is
available for Windows 2000/XP. The software
allows to save recordings as standard audio files,
program the recorder’s settings, use the recorder
as a Flash drive for saving and uploading files
with sizes from 128 Mb to 4 Gb depending on the
model.
You can renew the recorder’s firmware using the
USB interface.
The recorder has a Voice Activation System (VAS)
that allows compressing pauses in audio recordings,
increasing real recordings’ duration. While using
VAS, the recorder’s program saves memory space,
but the time intervals stay the same. Depending on
previous setting, after you uploaded the recordings
to a computer, the program can restore the pauses
as a silence or skip them.
On the recorder’s case, the recorder has a LED
that indicates operating modes.
You can use the recorder as a Flash drive to save
and exchange any data. It is possible to use the
recorder as a Flash drive and as an audio recorder
simultaneously.
