Preparing the camera for use
5.1
Inserting and removing the batteries
See Figures 4a to 4e in the front of this manual or Step 1 of the Quick Installation
Guide for how to insert and remove the batteries.
The battery status will be shown in the bottom left of the LCD screen.
Batteries charged.
Batteries half charged.
Batteries flat. Replace the batteries.

Notes about lifetime of the batteries:
It is recommended that Ni-MH batteries are
used with this camera rather than Alkaline batteries. Trust has
various Ni-MH battery chargers in its range.

Choosing a Language
The digital camera can display text in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and
Dutch.
Follow the instructions below to set the camera to your wishes.
1.
Switch on the camera.

Press the “MENU” button to show the menu system.
3.
Use the button (W) (

) to select [SETUP]
then press the right button (

) to
open the [SETUP] menu.

Use the button (W) (

) to select [LANGUAGE]
then press the right button (

and then press the right button (
