Screw stud

• The screw stud is used with serrated cutting discs,
abrasive discs and polishing discs.
1.
Fit the Stud (
A
) into the Rotary-tool as you do the other
accessories. (See page 7 “Installing accessories”).
2.
Using the screw (
B
), secure the disc you need, firmly
tightened with the screwdriver tip in the accessory
adjusting wrench (

). While tightening the disc, keep the
shaft lock depressed (

).
• Use care not
tightening the discs in excess. They
might break.
Drum sander stud
1.
Insert the drum sander stud (

) in the grain sander (

)
more suitable for the job.
2.
Install the stud in the Rotary-Tool as you do for the other
accessories. (See page 7 “Installing accessories”).
3.
Tighten the stud screw (
C
) ) to secure the sander. Keep
the shaft locked (

) pressed while tightening the screw.
