Start up
• Before connecting the tool to the power source, adjust
the dust-collecting container onto the extraction duct in the
back of the sander.
• For a better dust collection remove and empty the
container when full to the middle.
• Use the container when sanding wood. Do not use it to
sand metal. Hot metal particles could ignite wood dust
residues or the inner bag.
• A vacuum cleaner adaptor (not included) can also be
used instead of the collecting container to connect the
sander to a vacuum.
• Clean regularly the dust layers existing in the base,
underneath the sanding sheet.
Dust extraction
• Turn on the sander before setting it on the work piece.
• Keep the sander base parallel to the work piece surface.
• Press down onto the work piece making circular
movements and verifying the entire sander base is
supported on the work piece.
• Use moderate pressure. Do not force the sander. Run in
at a moderate speed. Overheating may occur if too much
pressure is applied. The motor will run slow leading to
inefficient sanding and damage to the motor.
• If marks on the surface persist after sanding, sand again
with a coarser grit to remove them; change the sandpaper
with the previous one and finish the sanding. Or change
the worn sandpaper with a new one.
• Do not let the sandpaper wear completely, you must
replace it before.
