Safety warnings for

blowers

                         • Never operate the tool when you are 

tired, ill, or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or 

medication.

• Wear appropriate clothing to operate the tool: tight 

fitting clothing, heavy pants, non-skid safety boots, 

heavy-duty protective gloves, hearing protection, and 

safety glasses with side shields per ANSI Z87.1, as well as a 

dust mask or face shield to prevent breathing in harmful 

debris.

                             • Remove any loose clothing or 

accessories that could be caught in the motor. Pull your 

hair back so that it is above shoulder level.

• Make sure the tool is in perfect condition. Do not start if 

it is improperly adjusted or not fully assembled so that it 

will operate safely.

• Make sure the tool is clean, dry and free of oil.

• Make sure the work area is in an open, well-ventilated 

area.

• In extreme temperatures check for ice formation or 

condensation on the tool.

• Ensure that visibility and light conditions are adequate to 

see clearly, otherwise do not use the tool.

                             • Make sure the nozzle is not pointed 

at any person or animal before starting the engine. Never 

point the blower at people or animals.

• Hold the blower properly and with both feet firmly on the 

ground.

• Keep the tool away from flammable materials. 

• Do not attempt to make adjustments to the tool with the 

motor running.

• Do not attempt to remove material clogged inside the 

tubes or blower with the motor running. Switch off before 

removing material.

• Be aware of hazards in your environment, the noise of 

the tool may prevent you from noticing them.

                            • Shut off the motor before idling the 

tool. DO NOT leave the engine running unattended.

                            • Do not leave the blower with the 

engine running on dirty surfaces or on grass, as it could 

pick up debris that may later be thrown at the operator or 

others, causing serious injury.

                          • Service and repair of the tool should 

only be performed by a                                 Authorized 

Service Center.

                             • If parts are missing, do not operate 

the tool until they are replaced. Failure to do so may 

result in serious personal injury.

                             • Do not attempt to modify the tool or 

fabricate accessories not recommended for the tool. 

Failure to do so may result in injury and may invalidate 

the warranty.
