Description
Operating with the main switch
(not included in the delivery scope)
When a main switch is used, the connected consumers can
be switched on and off. The switch is connected to the termi-
nals “MS“.
If, when the main switch is on, the voltage of the battery
drops below 10.8 V, the consumers are shut down via a relay
after a delay of approx. 3 minutes.
It is possible to unlock the consumer output for around 3
minutes via an Emergency-On function. To do this, switch the
main switch “OFF“ and “ON“.
The consumers are automatically activated when the voltage
of the battery (e.g. via charging) exceeds 12.5 V.
Operating without the main switch
If the device is operated without a main switch, no EMER-
GENCY-ON is possible. The terminals “MS“ need to be shunt-
ed with a wire (cross-section 0.75 mm²).
If the battery voltage drops below 10.8 V, the consumers are
switched off via a relay after a delay period of around 3 min-
utes. The consumers are automatically activated when the
voltage of the battery (e.g. via charging) exceeds 12.5 V.
Commissioning
The device is operational as soon as the operating voltage is on.
Maintenance
Clean the device using a dry and fluff-free cloth.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of in line with the administrative
regulations of the respective land in which it is used. National
regulations and laws (in Germany, for example, the Altfahrzeug-
Verordnung [old vehicle directive]) must be observed.
