TMA, at treestand installation height, re-check to ensure your lineman belt is properly secured to you and the tree.
STEP 3: Re-install the Hoist as previously outlined and shown in Figure 27. Ratchet the assembly tight. Make certain the assembly is installed a minimum of 30-inches
(76 cm) above the Quick Hitch Receiver as shown in Figure 28. Fold the standing platform
up
tight to the seats
. Install the hoist rope onto the treestand
assembly as shown in Figure 29
.
STEP 4: With the treestand assembly attached to the hoist rope, remove the Upright Ratchet Strap. Next, remove the Standing Platform Ratchet Strap.
STEP 5: Have the other adult, on the ground, GENTLY put tension on the hoist rope, lifting the treestand just far enough to lift it out of the Quick Hitch Receiver. With
the treestand assembly out of the Quick Hitch Receiver, AND TENSION STILL ON THE HOIST ROPE, disengage the hoist lever. With the hoist disengaged, have the other
adult lower the treestand assembly to the ground below.
