BH40/60  Owners Manual

•  Make sure the roller is serviceable before rolling.
•  Start rolling from the fringe of the green.
•   Pick a point on the other side of the green to

roll to.

•    Do not look at the green close to the roller; it

makes it di

cult to steer the roller straight; look

well ahead.

•    Use 3/4 throttle until you are pro

fi

 cient at

operating the roller.

•    Once you choose your rolling line hold the steering

wheel steady, correcting direction gently as
required.

•    Move the steering wheel a little at a time to change

direction; excessive movement of the steering
wheel makes it di

cult to maintain a straight line.

•  Roll in straight lines.
•    Move o

the green when rolling is complete before

putting the trailer in the down position.

•    If for some reason the machine stops on a green,

use the handle mounted on the frame to pump

Points to Remember

the trailer down to its towing position. Wheel
the machine o

the green. Tow it back to the

workshop for recti

fi

 cation, once running again the

trailer can be raised or lowered electronically.
