2. Remove the anti-splinter guard (

3. To reinsert the anti-splinter guard (

),
carefully push it into the recess of the base
plate (

) from below until the anti-splinter
guard (

) locks in place. When doing so,
make sure that the smooth side of the anti-
splinter guard (

) points away from the
device.
Adjusting the cutting angle
The cutting angle can be adjusted to the left or right
at angles of 0° / 15° / 30° / 45°.
1. First, remove the anti-splinter guard (

) and
the protective cover (

).

2. Push the base plate lock (

) to the front.

3. Slide the base plate (

) to the rear until it can
be freely rotated.
