14.5 Preventative maintenance

Particulate types and operating environments vary, therefore the maintenance schedules
above should be used as a guide only.
An assessment of site environmental and operating conditions should be carried out
periodically to assess the required maintenance.
As part of the routine maintenance schedule, it is recommended that the sensor is cleaned from
time to time following the steps below.
1. Wipe down the Air XD inlet surfaces with a damp cloth in both ‘open’ and ‘closed’ positions.
2. Using canned compressed clean air, spray the device inlet for 10 to 15 seconds to clean the
dust path.
