Using Export to Create Video Files with Data Overlays
TRU4orce produces video and data files independently, which gives maximum flexibility to configuring gauge
overlays and exported video files. After your session, you can decide exactly how you want to configure data and
gauge overlays, and then change the overlays for different presentation requirements.
TRU4orce Analyzer offers two types of edit and export functions:
Export a session to a video file (e.g., MPEG) for posting to secure Web site for sharing
Crop and save part of a session (e.g., critical part of the route) for continued use with TRU4orce Analyzer
How to Export TRU4orce Video with Gauges
To export video:
Select File->Export Video…
Grab and drag the Start indicator (green arrow) to beginning of planned export OR
Play the video to the beginning of planned export and click on Start button
Use the -> and <- keys to go forwards or backwards by one frame
Grab and drag the End indicator (red arrow) to end of planned export OR
Play the video to the end of planned export and click on End button
Note the estimated file size under Video Quality and the planned length of export in MM:SS above the Export
button
Select gauge and data overlay for display, then grab and move gauges and data to preferred locations
Resize gauges and data by holding Shift and grabbing the bottom right-hand corner of each widget
Click Export, navigate to folder/file location, edit the file name, and click on Save
