MANAGEMENT OF THE CAR
CONTROLS, SWITCHES AND INSTRUMENTS
The position of the controls, switches and instruments will readily be understood by
reference to Fig. 2.
FOOT OPERATED CONTROLS
Accelerator.
The pedal is connected by a short Bowden cable to the carburettor
throttle. Do not depress pedal when starting engine from cold.
Brake.
Operating four wheel hydraulic brakes.
Clutch.
Press pedal to disengage drive from engine to gearbox.
Do not rest your
foot on the pedal when
driving, or hold clutch out to free wheel, as this
will
cause unnecessary wear to the carbon thrust
pad.
