1 Switching on and notes
Before switching on
1. Open the printer cover, see item (1) in the figure
and remove the foam rubber pads, item (2) in the
figure.
2. Before connecting the mains cable, check the
rating label on the underside of the calculator to
see if the rated voltage corresponds to the local
voltage.
Switching on
Set the switch on the right side to position I.
Caution
- To avoid overheating, do not cover the calculator while it is switched on.
- Do not use organic solutions such as alcohol to clean the housing.
- Do not expose the calculator to direct sunlight or other high temperatures. Also avoid using it in
particularly dusty environment.
2 Replacement of the ink ribbon
1. Switch the calculator off.
2. Remove the printer cover.
3. Swing the spool holder aside and remove the two
spools.
4. Insert the new spools, making sure that the black
side of the ribbon is up, that the ribbon runs over the
ribbon guide and that it unspools in the correct
direction.
