CLEANING THE INLET FILTER
It is recommended that the filter is periodically
cleaned in order to maintain the performance of
the shower. It is essential that this operation is
carried out by a competent person.
SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AT
THE MAINS.
Remove the cover. The inlet filter is situated in
the solenoid inlet
(fig.38)
and can be removed
to clean.
Remove the trimplate and disconnect and
remove the compression fitting to gain access
to the filter. Also, depending on the incoming
pipework arrangements, if there is not enough
slack in the pipework, it could mean the removal
of the unit from the wall.
When cleaning the plastic filter, DO NOT use
a sharp object, as it will cause damage. It is
preferable to use an old toothbrush or similar.
