• Unplug the appliance from the socket when you are not using it.
• Note:
To avoid danger by accidental resetting the thermal protection,
this appliance may not be powered through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that regularly will be
switched on or off.
• Make sure that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table or
counter, does not touch any hot surfaces or is coming directly into
contact with the hot parts of the appliance. Do not place the appliance
underneath or close to curtains, window coverings etc.
• Make sure the cord does not touch the hot parts of the appliance.
• We advise to place a heat resistant coating between your table and the
appliance (this way you don't get burns on your table or table cloth).
• Do not use this appliance in the bathroom or near a sink filled with
water. If this appliance has fallen into the water do not under no
circumstances directly grab this appliance, but first pull the plug from
the socket.
* Competent qualified repair service: after sales department of the producer
or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to
perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you
should return the appliance to this repair service.

BeFoRe The FIRST uSe
• Remove all packaging of the device.
• Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage
of your home. Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz, max. rated power
1000 Watt.
• Before you start baking for the first time, grease the non-stick coated
baking trays lightly with a small amount of oil or fat.
• Let the appliance heat up for about 5 minutes with the device closed,
without any content and the temperature control on the highest
setting. This will remove the smell encountered when first switching on
a waffle maker. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Clean the waffle maker afterwards as described in “Cleaning and Care”.
how To uSe youR waFFle makeR
• Insert the plug into the wall socket. The red light goes on.
• After a short warm-up period of approx. 5 minutes with the plates
closed (the green light goes on) the waffle maker is ready for use.
• Open the waffle maker and grease both baking plates with some oil or
fat.
• Place the prepared waffle dough on the lower baking tray.
• Set the temperature control to the desired setting. For a dark and crispy
waffle, you can use mode 3, 4 or 5. For a light and soft waffle you can
use position 1 or 2. Choose your own setting.
• The baking time in every setting is 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the
kind of dough and your own wishes.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove your waffle, in order to prevent
damage to the non stick coating.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
