Stir once in a while to obtain a smooth texture.
There are several types of oil suitable for fondue. Check on the packaging to see whether or
not the oil is suitable for fondue. Please note: oil, bouillon, cheese sauce or chocolate will
become very hot! Never thouch it. Example for classic meat fondue:
Place a small piece of meat to the fondue fork (No.11) and put it in the fondue fork ring (No. 12)
of the fondue pot. Let it yarn and pull the meat from the fondue fork. Note: The fondue fork
always stick to the holder and never directly in the mouth stabbing, this can cause very serious
burns!
Using the baking plate
Place the fondue pot (No. 10) on the heating base (No. 5) and turn on the thermostat switch
(No. 6) on the device. The heating light (No. 7) will light up when the heating temperature is
reached the light goes out. Turn the switch clockwise to the desired position. The thermostat
regulates a constant temperature. During use, the heating light (No. 7) on and off, this is
normal, the temperature is always constant adjusted. Always use the wooden spatula (No. 8)
to avoid to damage the non-stick layer of the baking plate. Meat en fish dishes can be cooked
on the baking plate.
Using the pot
Place the pot (No. 15) on the heating base (No. 5) and turn on the thermostat switch (No. 6) on
the device. The heating light (No. 7) will light up when the heating temperature is reached the
light goes out. Turn the switch clockwise to the desired position. The thermostat regulates a
constant temperature. During use, the heating light (No. 7) on and off, this is normal, the
temperature is always constant adjusted. Always use the wooden spatula (No. 8) to avoid to
damage the non-stick layer of the pot. The pot is for preparing sauces, soups and vegetables.
Cleaning the unit
Always remove the plug from the outlet when not in use or when the device is cleaned. Let the
device cool down completely before cleaning.
Wipe the heating base (No. 5)with a mild detergent and a damp cloth.
Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the
device. Never immerse the heating base (No. 5) in water or other liquid. Clean the loose parts
in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
