Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting and allow the
device heating at least 10 minutes without food.
• NOTE:
It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the
first use. This will cause after a short while.
•
Pull out the Oil Drip Tray and pour water to reduce smoke while
cooking. Do not pour water on the heating element.
• NOTE:
Please do not use the appliance without water in the tray.
USE
•
Pre-heat your appliance on the highest level for 10 minutes before
using it.
•
The griddle should be rubbed in with some food oil.
•
Use the temperature knob on the thermostat to choose the desired
temperature.
•
The thermostat regulates a constant temperature. During cooking
the indicator light on and off, this is normal, the temperature is always
constant adjusted. Never use sharp objects on the grill plate, this will
damage the anti-stick coating.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to
cool down.
•
Wipe the inside and the edges of the appliance with a paper towel or a
soft cloth.
•
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
•
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or
steel wool as this will damage the finish.
•
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in
not dishwasher proof.
•
Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no
moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.
GUARANTEE

Tristar is not liable for damages occurred through:
o In case the appliance has fallen.
o In case the appliance has been technically changed by the owner or
another third party.
o In case of improper use of the appliance.
o In case of normal wear of the appliance.

By executing repairs the original warranty period of 2 years will not
be extended, nor the right to a complied new warranty. This warranty
is only legal on European soil. This warranty does not overrule the
European directive 1944/44CE.

Always keep your receipt, without this receipt you can not claim any
form of warranty whatsoever.
•
Damage caused by not following the instruction manual will lead to a
void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages Tristar will not
be liable.
•
Tristar will not be liable for material damage or personal injury caused
by improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly executed.
•
Cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only necessary
maintenance for this appliance.
•
When the appliance should be repaired, make sure that this will be
performed by an authorized company.
