3. Installation
3.2 Plug the isolation transformer into an electrical outlet.
Note:
The isolation transformer does not include an input power cord (power cords available at www.tripplite.com).
Connect a user-supplied input power cord to the IEC-320-C14 input receptacle for models IS300HGDV, IS600HGDV and IS1000HGDV.
Connect to the IEC-320-C20 input receptacle for model IS1800HGDV. The power cord should have an IEC-320-C13 connector for models
IS300HGDV, IS600HGDV, IS1000HGDV and an IEC-320-C19 connector for IS1800HGDV on one end and a plug appropriate for your local
site’s utility outlet on the other end.
3.3 Plug equipment into the isolation transformer’s AC outlets.
Note:
The isolation transformer only meets CAN/ES/IEC/EN 60601-1 when plugged into a properly installed hospital-grade outlet.
3.4 Turn the isolation transformer ON to provide clean AC power to its receptacles.
“|” is the ON position; “O” is the OFF position.
3.1.3 For IS1800HGDV:
Input voltage selection is made via the selector switch labeled “Input Voltage”
A
(Figure 3). Separate fuse holders are available for
the IS1800HGDV. You will have to insert the correct fuse value depending on input voltage. For correct fuse value, see the table in
section 3.1.5. Output voltage selection is made with the output voltage selector switch
B
.
Note:
If using as a step-up or step-down transformer, the output voltage must match the connected equipment load requirements.
