Make sure that the HDMI and RS232 Serial source is powered off.

Connect the HDMI source to the HDMI Input port on the local transmitter unit.

Connect the included 3.5 mm Male-to-DB9-Female adapter cable to the
RS232 port on the local transmitter unit, and then connect the computer to the
adapter using a DB9 Serial cable.

Connect the IR-IN cable to the IR-IN port on the local transmitter unit.
Note
: Locate the IR-IN and IR-OUT units together in an area close to the
source being controlled by remote (e.g., Blu-Ray player).

Connect the IR-OUT cable to the IR-OUT port on the local transmitter unit.

Connect the external power supply to the local transmitter unit, and plug it into
a Tripp Lite Surge Suppressor, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or Power
Distribution Unit (PDU).
Installation Instructions
Note
: Test to make sure the entire installation works properly before pulling cables
through ceilings/walls. To achieve maximum distance and performance, use a
24Awg solid wire Cat5e/6 cable. Using a stranded wire Cat5e/6 cable, or a cable
with a gauge size higher than 24Awg, will result in shorter extension distance. All
Tripp Lite N202-Series Cat6 cables are made with 24Awg solid wire cabling.
