1. Insert the test leads into the appropriate jacks.

“reverse” resistance of the circuit or component.
If appropriate, observe the “capacitive kick” of the
circuit or component as the Polarity Switch is
operated.
A fuse protects the X1 range against accidental over-
loads. If the fuse should blow, all

not operate.
