Thank you for purchasing a quality product for motorizing interior shades from Trietex (R). Please
follow the simple steps to set up your motor to gain full use of it. For this it is necessary to adjust the
upper and lower end position switches according to your size of horizontal blinds. If you have a new
motor please follow steps 1 and 2, if you want to change or correct the end-positions of an existing
motor please gotostep 3. For testingpurposes the motor is preset withend positionsfor a short range.
The motor is preset for horizontal blinds with a height of more than 45 cm. If your
system issmaller please contact your manufacturer or dealer for adjustingthe motor.
There is a standard upper end position preset ex works. For adjusting the upper end position please
press the control switch to move the blinds until they shut off automatically. If you want to use this end
position you can go now direct to step 2. Use a screw driver and push it in one of the two holes on the
lower side of the head rail. Youcancheck if you got the correct one if the motor starts moving the blinds
further up - keep it pressed until the blind is in its fully up position. Now switch the control switch in
neutral position.
Switch on the control switch again in the direction to drive the blinds down and they will shut off
automatically after one up to twenty seconds. Now use again a screw driver and press it in the other
hole and the motor will start moving down again. Keep the adjustment switch pressed until the blinds
are in their fully low position. By taking the screw driver from the adjustment switch the end position is
set.
You can adjust manually the upper or lower end position with the control switch as long as the
adjustment switch is being pressed by the screwdriver. In this case the help of a second person for
pressing thecontrol switch can be helpful.
If you set already an end position and you want to change it please use the control switch to drive the
blinds in the end position you want to adjust. We recommend to ask a second person for a little help if
the control switch is without reach from the headrail. Now press again a screw driver in one of the
holes on the lower side of the headrail (it is the correct adjustment switch if the motor starts moving
again). Press the control switch in neutral position and press the corresponding adjustment switch
again and keep it pressed. By using the control switch the end position can be adjusted and will be
stored whenthescrewdriver is removed from the adjustment switch.
