If antifreeze substances are to be used in the system,
always check with the manufacturer that they are
compatible with the aluminium which forms the main
body of the boiler heat exchanger. Due to
its corrosive nature,
do not
use antifreeze
products which contain ETHYLENE
GLYCOL.
A suitable antifreeze liquid will prevent rust and the
formation of scale.
Periodically check the pH value of the system water,
replacing as necessary when this falls below that
stipulated by the antifreeze manufacturer.
Do not mix different types of antifreeze.
Trianco cannot be held liable for damage caused to
the boiler or water system as a result of the incorrect
use of antifreeze or other additives.
