SETUP
Open the battery compartment (9), insert four AA 1.5V
batteries, carefully respecting the polarities indicated on the
appliance. Close the battery compartment again.
As an alternative an external adapter (not supplied) can be
used after connecting it to the DC 5V socket (7).
RADIO
1. Make sure that the RADIO/MP3 PLAYER selector
(16)
is on the RADIO position (pressed).
2. Switch on the radio through the volume adjusting knob
(2), you will hear a click.
3. Select the desired wave band using the AM/FM band
selector (3).
4. Select your favourite station using the tuning control
(4).
5. Adjust the volume by means of the volume control
(2).

To obtain the best reception in FM, extend and point the
antenna. If the reception is bad, try adjusting the length and
orientation of the antenna. However, the FM reception quality
depends very much on where the appliance is placed.
The AM antenna is located inside the appliance; therefore you
need to point the appliance to obtain the best reception.
USB/SD CARD READER OPERATION
1. Insert an SD memory card in the SD slot (13) or a USB
device in the USB port (15).
Note: The player may not support some devices equipped with
USB socket due to incompatibility with some processors.
2. Make sure that the RADIO/MP3 PLAYER selector
(16) is on the MP3 PLAYER position (released).
3. Switch on the radio through the volume adjusting knob
(2), you will hear a click.
4. After a few seconds the player will automatically start
playing the detected audio tracks.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE >II key (10) to activate the
pause, the LED indicator (12) is steadily on.
6. To disable the pause, press the PLAY/PAUSE >II key
(10) again, the LED indicator (12) blinks.
7. Press the
key (14) while listening to move to the
next track. Press the
key (11) to move to the
previous one.
8. If both the USB device and the SD card are connected
it is possible to change the device currently read by the
appliance by holding the PLAY/PAUSE >II key (10)
press for about two seconds.
AUX-IN INPUT
1. Switch on the radio through the volume adjusting knob
(2), you will hear a click.
Note: the position of the RADIO/MP3 PLAYER function selector
(16) is not important during playback from an AUX IN input.
2. Connect any unit with an audio output with the specific
cable to the AUX-IN input (5).
3. Control the external unit with its controls.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
This is a high-precision electronic appliance; do not use it in
very humid or dusty places or subject to sudden rises/falls
in temperature. Keep out of direct sunlight. Use a slightly
damp soft cloth for cleaning. Avoid solvents and abrasive
substances.
