OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FAULT TRACING CHART
FAULT
The trowel
does not start or stops on
its own.
There is no power in the trowel.
The machine wobbles.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Power failure, one phase is out of
action.
The electric motor is overloaded, the
thermo switch has acted.
Electrical failure in the machine.
Failure in the coupling between motor
and gear box.
Failure in the electrical system of the
machine.
Faulty disc.
Floating operation started too early.
The initial adjustment of the blades is
wrong.
Uneven base.
Bent outgoing shaft.
Bent blade shaft.
REMEDY
-
Check that all three phases are live.

Let the motor cool down for 10
minutes.

Check the cable connections to
and from the switch.
-
Check switch and contactor in the
control board (condensation might
occur in winter).
-
Check the cable connections to the
motor.
-
Check that the micro switch in the
operating handle closes the circuit.
-
Disassemble the motor and check
the coupling.
-
Measure the voltage and amperage
of the motor. Check that the plugs
and the switches are not burnt or
oxidized.

Faulty convexity. (Tilt the machine
and check with a straight edge or
similar that the trowel has a
distance of 5-6 mm to the straight
edge in the periphery).
- Wait.
-
Adjust with adjusting screw.
-
Replace.

Replace.
