2. Using the TrekStor TV as a NAS (Network Attached Storage)
1. Check if the IP address from your router is correctly
allocated or not.
3. For Windows® users, click [Start] - [Run]
– [Example] (refer to the above image and the below examples).
2. Press [Application]
– [NAS] - [ON].
If you want to use your TrekStor TV as a network drive, it needs to be in the same network and
subnet as your computer.
TIP:
You will be able to connect network drive easily if you change [myxtreamer], which is a
default value in Web Server Hostname, into a simple name, e.g. [myserver].
(Example-1)
Type [\\192.168.124.121] if you know the allocated IP address of your TrekStor TV.
(Example-2)
Type [\\myxtreamer] (refer to the below image) if you use your router's DHCP function to get an IP which may
change each time you boot your TrekStor TV.
