_DISPOSAL AT END OF LIFE
Pursuant to Art.13 of Legislative Decree no.49 on 2014 "Implementation of the WEEE Directive
2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic equipment waste"
_DOCUMENTATION
The crossed-out wheeled bin label specifies that the product was placed on the market after 13
August 2005 and that at the end of its service life should not be disposed of with other waste but
must be disposed of separately.
All the equipment is made from recyclable materials (stainless steel, iron, aluminium, galvanized steel
sheet, copper, etc.), about 90% by weight.
Put the equipment out of service for disposal by removing the power cord and any locking device of
compartments or cavities (if any).
It is necessary to pay attention to the management of this product at the end of its service life by reducing
negative impacts on the environment and improving the efficiency of resource use, applying the “polluter
pays" principle, ensuring prevention, preparation for reuse, recycling and recovery. Please note that
illegal and improper disposal of the product entails the application of the administrative sanctions stated
by current legislation.
Disposal considerations available in Italy.
In Italy, WEEE equipment must be delivered:
-to collection points (also called ecological stations or ecological platforms)
-to the dealer from whom you will purchase new equipment, who is obliged to withdraw the product for
free (“one for one” withdrawal);
Information on disposal in other countries of the European Union.
The Community directive on WEEE equipment has been implemented differently by each country.
Therefore, if you wish to dispose of this equipment please contact your local authorities or dealer and ask
them which is the correct method of disposal.
