leeve, +/-/gnd). The ¼-inch phone jack can also
accept regular unbalanced cables. For best results, and
to reduce noise, it is advised that you use balanced
(stereo) cables for interconnection wherever possible.
Do not use both the phone and XLR inputs at the same time
(signals will be highly attenuated).
Line Out
The Line Out is post channel 1 and 2, as well as pre-
effects. This means the Gain controls do affect the
output to the Balanced Line Out and there is no reverb
effect. The Line Out can be connected directly to a mixer
or even another amplifier. The soundman can then add
reverb on the mixer if required.
Reverb Level Control
The
AM50T
uses a mechanical spring reverb tank
that is adjustable using the
Reverb
level control. The
Reverb
level control affects the amount of reverb for
both channels. When the level control is rotated fully
clockwise, your signal will be
wet
(utilizing the maximum
amount of reverb available). Conversely, if the level
control is rotated fully counter-clockwise the reverb will
be totally
defeated
(off).
