than intended. Only use the equipment as
described in these instructions and for the
functions specified.

Be ware of the extension cord
- Always
keep the extension cord away from the
cutting area and obstacles. Keep it away
from heat, oil and sharp edges. Frequently
inspect the extension cord; do not use
insulation tape to mend it.

Do not force the lawn mower/trimmer

The equipment will work better and safer
when used under the conditions
specified.

Do not be self-confident
- Keep both feet
on the ground to keep balance.
✔
Be alert
- Pay attention to what is going
on around you. Do not use the lawn
mower/trimmer when you are tired,
distracted, or under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.

Never transport the lawn mower/trimmer
by the extension cord.
✔
Unplug the equipment
- Whenever the
lawn mower/trimmer is not being used or
when making adjustments.
✔
Keep the lawn mower/trimmer
in good working conditions
- When not
being used, keep the equipment in a dry
place, protected from the weather, away
from children and people not familiarized
with it.

Never use a water jet to clean the lawn
mower/trimmer; clean them with a
sponge or cloth soaked in mild detergent.
Water inside the equipment can damage the
electric circuit of the motor, besides
increasing the risk of an electric shock.

Take care of your lawn mower/trimmer

Keep the equipment in perfect usage
conditions and clean to obtain good and
safer operation. Repairs must be made by
authorized technicians only.

Keep safety devices at proper places and
in working conditions.
✔
Keep both hands and feet away from the
cutting area.

Check the area where the equipment will
be used
- Remove all stones, pieces of
wood, wires, bones, glass and other weird
objects. Objects thrown by the equipment
may cause serious injuries to people and
animals.

If the lawn mower/trimmer throws a
weird object -
Follow these steps:
a)
Immediately switch the equipment off.
b)
Unplug it.
c)
Check the extension cord and the lawn
mower/trimmer for damages.
d)
Fix any damage before switching the
equipment on again.

Call qualified professionals to
service the equipment. Use original
parts only.

caused by the use of spare parts that

To reduce the risk of accidents
- Frequently
inspect the lawn mower/trimmer. If there
are traces of wear out or deterioration,
provide the substitution of parts.

To reduce the risk of electric shocks
- Do
not expose the lawn mower/trimmer to
humidity. If there are damages to the
extension cord, immediately replace it;
never use tapes to mend it.
Note:
According to the Brazilian standard
NBR 5410, it is compulsory to install a
device to protect against residual
defferential current (DR device) in the
electrical installation. The function of
the “DR” is to protect the user against
serious electrical shock risk (consult an
electrician).
Attention!
If the power supply cord is
damaged, it shall be replaced by the
Trapp Assistance Shopp (or dealer) in
order to avoid the risk of accidents.
