ATTACHING THE TAPMATE XL-424 TO THE VALVE:

Move the TapMate Xl-424 into position (see drawing at
left) and bolt it to the valve. Care needs to be taken to
properly align the TapMate XL-424 machine to the
valve.
NOTE:
Incorrect alignment can result in damage to
the valve, tapping sleeve and / or pipe.
Adequately support the TapMate XL-424 so as not to
put stress on the pipe, valve or tapping sleeve. Ensure
that this support will accommodate the travel distance
of the tubes during the tap.
NOTE:
Do not support the machine by the threads
.
9. With the machine secured to the valve, disconnect and
remove the lifting chains.
