Installation 

CAUTION: Wear a grounding device and observe electrostatic discharge precautions
when handling the media converter. Failure to observe this caution could result in
damage to, and subsequent failure of, the media converter slide-in-module.

Six-position switch

The six-position switch is located on the circuit board of the media converter. Use a
small, flat-blade screwdriver

(or a similar device) 

to set the switch according to the

site requirements 

(see the drawing below)

TP Speed:  UP =100 Mbs, Down = 10 Mbs  

(Note 1)

TP Auto-Negotiation:  UP = Enabled, Down = Disabled

TP Duplex:  UP = Full, Down = Half

LPT: UP = Enabled, Down = Disabled
