Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
Observe these ESD precautions when installing or handing the M/GE-xSW-SFP-01-xx-UxX:
•
Do not remove the converter from its protective packaging until you are ready to install M/GE-xSW-SFP-01-xx-
UxX Series media converter.
•
Wear an ESD wrist grounding strap before handling the M/GE-xSW-SFP-01-xx-UxX Series media converter or
its component. If you do not have a wrist strap, maintain grounded contact with the unit throughout any
procedure requiring ESD protection.
