Drag and drop the Disk icon that represents your SSD into the trashcan. Then unplug your SSD from the

eSATA and/or USB port.

Linux

®

Kernel 2.4, or Later (USB)

Execute

umount/mnt/SSD

to un-mount the device. Then unplug your SSD from the USB port.
