7. Do not block any ventilation holes. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other equipment

     (including amplifiers) that produces heat.

9. Do not bypass the safety features of the polarized or grounding-type plug.

A polarized plug has two prongs, one wider than the other.

A grounding-type plug has two prongs and a third grounding pin.

The wide blade and the third pin exist for your safety.

If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the prongs, convenience receptacles,

and the point where they exit from the unit.

11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods of time.

13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required if the unit has been damaged in any way, if the power

supply cord or plug is damaged, if liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen onto the unit, if the unit has been exposed

to rain or moisture, does not function normally, or has been dropped.

14. The unit must not be exposed to drips or splashes and any containers containing liquids, such as vases,

must not be placed on the unit.

15. Warning: To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.

CAUTION

1. The user may not modify the unit.

2. The user may not replace the battery adapter or power adapter with similar commercially purchased parts.

This can damage the charger unit or the rechargeable batteries, and will void the unit warranty.

3. Never attempt to charge alkaline or dry cell batteries, as they may explode causing damage and personal injury.

4. Never let metal, wire etc. come into contact with any internal part of the charger.

5. Ensure that the battery and charger contacts are always clean, otherwise the batteries may not fully charge.

6. Never incinerate used batteries, as this may result in an explosion.

7. Store the charger away from TV sets or radios to prevent interference.

8.

Avoid overcharging

 – batteries must be removed from the charger to stop charging.

Batteries must not charge for more than

15 hours

after the LED indicator turns green.

9. If your batteries seem to have no capacity even after being fully charged, completely discharge them, then fully recharge them.

If they still do not retain their charge (or have very little charge), new batteries must be purchased.

10. There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent batteries.

       Note that the

Li-ion battery must have a protection circuit

.

11. The battery pack or batteries installed must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire or similar.

12. Disconnect from the mains by switching off the main switch.
