Com Link board Configuration
The Com Link board is a small circuit board
attached to the TCI-3 base board. The TCI-3 is
shipped with the Com Link board in the iso-
lated Com 3 position as shown in Figure 2,
but can be configured to communicate using
the Non-isolated Com 3 or Com 4 mode as
shown in Figure 3.
To change the configuration of the TCI-3
board:
1. Remove the four screws that attaches the Com
Link Board to the TCI-3 base board.
2. Gently lift the Com Link Board off the TCI-3 base
board and away from the pin set located above
TB1.
3. Rotate the Com Link board 90° so that the non-
isolated Com 3 or Com 4 connector is above
the pin set.

4. Gently lower the Com Link Board over the
pin set and onto the TCI-3 base board.
5. Screw the Com Link Board to the TCI-3 base
board with the four screws that were
removed in step number 1.
