Multiple Unit Operation
In a multiple unit configuration, the Remote Human
Interface Panel has the capability to communicate and
control up to four (4) Units. Each Rooftop Unit requires a
separate Interprocessor Communication Bridge Module
(IPCB) and a communication link from the Remote Panel.
Terminal strip TB9 is used to wire the second, third, and
fourth Unit to the Remote Human Interface. TB9 is located
on a daughter board at the bottom right hand corner of the
Remote Human Interface Module. Refer to
for the terminal designation and location.
To complete the installation of the remote Human
Interface Panel:
–
Verify that Dip Switches 1 and 2, located on the IPCB
module(s), are in the “Off” position and Switch 3 is
in the “On” position.
To view the default parameters or to change operating
parameters at the Remote Panel:
–
Restore all power to the Unit;
Follow the step-by-step instructions in the appropriate
Programming Manual(s) (latest edition) for Constant
Volume applications or Variable Air Volume applications
that shipped with the unit.
