Motor-AFD mutual protection
The chiller unit-controller capabilities allow the control/configuration interface to, and the retrieval/
display of AFD-related data. AFD standard design features controlled through the Tracer
AdaptiView™ include:

Current limited to 100 percent.
•
Motor overload protection.
•
Motor over-temperature protection.
•
Phase loss, phase reversal, and phase imbalance protection.
•
Undervoltage and overvoltage protection.
•
Output speed reference via IPC3 communication bus from the chiller controller to the AFD.
