and gently apply and release brake pressure. Practice with them until you are
certain they are capable of safely maneuvering your TrailRover™.
Starting and Stopping
With them sitting on your TrailRover™ with the engine “OFF”, in an level area
free from obstruction, push the TrailRover™ from behind to allow them to
get the feel of the moving vehicle and become familiar with the brakes and its
movement. Then following the instructions within the introduction of the
manual, let them practice starting and parking your TrailRover™, Until they
master the skills for safe operation, use the Remote Engine Stop Switch to
control the operation of your TrailRover™, including starting, acceleration,
deceleration and parking.
Turning
In an open area, free of obstruction, with the engine “OFF”, as you push your
TrailRover™ from behind, let them practice turning. Once they have mastered
turning, allow them to practice with the engine “ON”. You should control your
TrailRover™ with the Remote Engine Stop Switch until they have proven they can
safely operate the vehicle.
When they have proven they have successfully learned to use the controls and
have the skills and ability to safely operate your TrailRover™, allow them to
combine all the steps for safe operation of the vehicle. Children and new users
require varying amounts of practice which will require that you be patient.
Never allow children or inexperienced riders to operate your TrailRover™ without
adult supervision.
Inspection and Maintenance
It is very important that you inspect and maintain your TrailRover™ on a regular
basis to ensure optimal performance and longevity. If you have the proper tools
and experience, you can perform the maintenance yourself in accordance with
the instructions provided in this manual. If you are unsure whether or not you
are capable, please ask your dealer for information about qualified technicians.
