Using a utility knife, carefully remove any
residual plastic from the center conductor, if

Insert the end of the cable into the #2 end of
the ST-400EZ stripping tool (see Figure 61).
Then rotate the tool clockwise around the
cable until the tool turns easily. This removes
the cable jacket from the end of the cable,
exposing the braid and dielectric (see

Using the DBT-02 tool, deburr and chamfer
the center conductor (see Figure 63). Avoid
nicking the aluminum tape covering the
dielectric.
