The Dynamic Laser Cruise Control system has two cruise control modes:
1. constant speed control Mode
This mode is used on conventional cruise control systems. It is also called “fixed speed” control mode and is used for
cruising at fixed speeds.
2. Vehicle-to-Vehicle distance control Mode
In this mode, the cruise control system uses a laser sensor to detect a vehicle in front of you and measures the
vehicle-to-vehicle distance. The detection range of the sensor is about 394 ft (120m) ahead.
