The engine switch is in the “ON” position

can be pressed within 5 minutes after the engine switch is turned to

“LOCK” or “ACC” to allow for loading/unloading of the cartridge.

If the front cover is open when the engine switch is in the “LOCK” or
“ACC” position

After turning the engine switch to “ON”, make sure to press

to com-

pletely load the cartridge. If the cartridge is forcibly inserted when power is

not being supplied to the tachograph, information will not be recorded on the

chart.
