7.2 Requirements for the commissioning
This incomplete machine may not be commissioned until it has been ascer-
tained that the incomplete machine in which the component is to be in-
stalled complies with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/
EC).
The requirements are:
Ÿ All components are properly installed.
Ÿ
Any transport locks are removed.
Ÿ Supply connections, communication and control connections, material
or media hoses are installed properly. The permissible values are com-
plied with.
Ÿ
The necessary software for controlling the component is installed.
During downtimes of more than 1 year, lubricate the drive before
commissioning.

7.3 Parameterizing, Visualizing, Operating
The component is parameterized, visualized, documented and operated via
a control system.
Fault messages are visualized and described via the control system or soft-
ware.
