This fireplace is supplied with a wall control
and hand held remote control.
Please note only genuine Town & Country
Fireplace wall controls and hand held
remote controls can be used on this
fireplace.
1. Locate the “learn” button on the lower left
side of the Maestro wall control.(Fig.#45)
Using a paperclip or thin object, press and
hold the “learn” button for approx. 6 seconds
until both the red & green led lights flash
slowly 3 times. This will clear the memory of
all previously learned transmitters.
2. Press the “Learn” button one more time,
again the red & green led lights should
flash rapidly 3 times. (Fig. #45)
3. Once this has been pressed, press the
center button on the hand held remote.
(Fig. #46) The fireplace will then turn
on.
4. Turn off the fireplace by pressing the
center button again. The handset is now
synchronized with the fireplace.
Initial Settings
(Time and temperature)
1. Press and hold the A1 and A2 buttons
at the same time until the temperature
symbol flashes. (Fig. #47)
2. Use the up and down arrows to set pre-
ferred temperature units. (°F or °C)
3. Press OK and the “hour” value will start
to flash.
4. Use the up and down arrows to set the
“hour” value.
5. Press OK and the “minute” value will
flash.
6. Use the up and down arrows to set the
“minute” value.
7. Press OK and the “day” value will
flash.
8. Use the up and down arrows to set the
“day” value
9. Press OK to end initial set up.
