OPERATION
1. Measure rice and thoroughly wash in a
separate bowl. Maximum capacity is 6 liters or
(33) 6 oz. cups.
2. Empty the washed rice into the rice pot and add
proper amount of water. The ratio of rice to
water should be 1
1
⁄
2
cups of
water to 1 cup of rice.
3. Place the rice pot in the body
and turn it slightly to the right
and left to insure it is properly
positioned on the heating plate.
4. Rice pot must be aligned with
the main body. If the pot is not aligned correctly,
the cover/lid will not close.
5. Lower the cover/lid until the latch engages and
clicks in to place.
6. Plug the unit in.
7. Press the main power button. The cook light
will turn on. If the rice pot is not placed in the
body, the unit cannot be switched on, even if the
power button is pressed.
8. When the rice is cooked, the main power button
turns off automatically, the cook light goes off
and the keep warm light turns on.
9. Keep the lid closed for another 15 minutes to
ensure that the rice is thoroughly cooked.

When heating is not required, unplug the power
cord.
