Limescale:

If you live in a particularly hard water area, we recommend using bottled or distilled

water.

WARNING:

Never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into

water tank

.

After ironing:

1.  Disconnect the power supply and empty any water left in the water tank.

2.  Reconnect the power supply and disconnect after the indicator light goes off,

this dries the soleplate.

CAUTION:

Let the iron completely cool down.

3.  Once the iron has cooled wipe flakes and any other deposits on the soleplate

with a damp cloth or a nonabrasive (liquid) cleaner.

4.  Clean the upper part of iron with a damp cloth. Always store the emptied iron

horizontally on a stable surface with a cloth protecting the soleplate.

5.  When not in use, store the appliance in a safe, dry place, out of reach of

children.

Anti-calc:

The anti-calc function is a permanent system located inside the water tank to

eliminate impurities from the water and to reduce the problems connected with

limescale build-up.

To prolong the efficiency of this system, follow these steps occasionally:

1.  Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down.

2.  Locate the water cup that accompanied the iron. Fill it with water 3/4 full. Add

1 teaspoon of salt to water and fill the water tank with this solution.

3.  Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking occasionally, and

then empty it.

IMPORTANT!

Do not use the appliance if the surface is wet or damp. Ensure the appliance is

completely clean and dry before use and storage.

8 - Cleaning & Care
