Cleaning & Care
After ironing:

1.

Disconnect the iron from the power supply and empty out any water left in the water tank.

2.

Reconnect the iron into the power supply and disconnect it again after the indicator light goes
out. This helps dry out the soleplate.

3.

Let the iron completely cool down, and then wipe flakes and any other deposits on the
soleplate with a damp cloth or a nonabrasive (liquid) cleaner. Clean the upper part of the
iron with a damp cloth. Store the emptied iron horizontally on a stable surface with a cloth
protecting the soleplate.

4.

When not in use, store the appliance in a safe, dry place, out of reach of children.

Self-cleaning:

1.

Set the temperature control to the maximum position, then press the self-clean button for
about 1 minute. Steam will emit from within the iron to clean the steam compartment. We
recommend using the self-cleaning function approximately once every two weeks.

Anti-calc:

1.

The anti-calc function filters certain minerals from the water to prevent lime-scale residue from
building up inside the steam compartment. However if you live in a particularly hard water
area, we recommend using bottled or distilled water.

WARNING:

never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into water tank.
