Opening/closing the seat and lid
There are two ways to open and close the seat and lid: [Remote control opening and closing] and
[Automatic opening and closing].
Using the remote control to open and close the seat and lid
The seat and lid can be opened and closed using the remote control buttons. (The remote control can
also be used to open and close them even if automatic opening and closing are on.)

Using automatic opening and closing
When you approach the toilet, the lid opens automatically, and when you move away the toilet lid
closes automatically.
If you close the lid using the remote control or by hand, the lid will not open automatically for about 10
seconds. (This prevents the lid from reopening unnecessarily.)
Automatic opening and closing are set to "on" when the unit is new.

When urinating while standing, open the seat using
the remote control. The seat can also be opened
