14) TP6 is the output from the THRESHOLD control. The control voltage is approx. -127.45mV/dB. Therefore, to achieve 30dB
limiting with a +20dBu input signal this would need in a control voltage of 50 x 127.45 = 6.372V.
Set the input signal to +20dBu. Set the THRESHOLD CONTROL to -30dB (fully CCW). Adjust the -30 trimmer (VR1) until TP6 reads
-6.372V. This will be approximately 12 o’clock.
