9. Troubleshooting
Please read the user s manual carefully before using the DVD player. If you
have any trouble in using this player, try to solve the problems by the
suggestions mentioned below. If you cannot remedy the trouble after using all
the suggestions, please return to the point of purchase

Dead. No Led lit
No power.
Check all connections and
that the supply is switched
on.
Ensure the video output is
connected to the Tv.
No picture.
The video output is not
selected.
If using SCART you may
select RGB or Composite
Picture is in Black and White

Incorrect Tv system

All UK tv’s are PAL. Select
PAL or Auto. Using N/P

Carefully clean the disc.
Disc or laser dirty.
Use a proprietary laser

Discard any damaged discs
Cannot remove disc from

Micro controller locked up
Turn OFF power, wait 15
seconds, re apply power
and press Open button.
Incorrect connections
Carefully inspect the audio
connections.
No Sound.
Incorrect settings
Carefully select the Audio
setup to suit the system
Replace batteries regularly.
Exhausted batteries.
No or poor remote function

Ensure no object is blocking
