3-1-2. Proceeding VCTi Firmware Upgrading
Preparation: Connect PC and TV using Jig before proceeding.

Disconnect AC power cord of TV.

Connect Jig to PC connector on TV with D-sub cable.

Connect USB connector on Jig to USB connector on PC.

Connect LPT port of Jig to LPT port of PC.

Press the Jig switch down. (
)

Plug the AC power cord to go into standby mode. (The LED lights up red.)

Press the Jig switch again. (
)
Connect USB cable connector
(small).
Connect directly to D-sub 25 pin
connector on PC.
Connect one D-sub 9 pin cable
connector.
Connect USB cable connector (small)
to USB connector on Jig board.
Connect USB cable connector (large)
to USB connector on PC.
Connect one D-sub 9 pin cable
connector to PC connector on
TV.
Connect the other
D-sub 9 pin cable
connector to D-sub 9
pin connector on Jig
board.

Connect D-sub 25 pin connector
on Jig board directly to D-sub 25
pin connector on PC.
